Marc Yamada

Marc Yamada is a distinguished professor of Interdisciplinary Humanities at the College of Humanities, Brigham Young University. With a robust academic background, he earned his PhD in Japanese Literature & Culture from the University of California, Berkeley. He also holds a Master of Arts in Comparative Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese and International Relations, both from Brigham Young University. His scholarly pursuits are deeply rooted in Japanese and East Asian film, literature, and culture. Professor Yamada's teaching repertoire is as diverse as his research interests, encompassing East Asian film, literature, culture, postmodern culture, and popular culture.
