Rudi Weikard

Redefining the boundaries of what is possible in mathematical exploration, Rudi Weikard is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Weikard's academic journey began in Germany, where he earned his doctoral degree in 1987 from the Technische Universität Braunschweig. In September 1990, he embarked on a new chapter at UAB, joining as an Assistant Professor. His dedication and expertise were soon recognized, leading to his promotion to Associate Professor in 1994 and subsequently to full Professor in 1999.
