Professor creating impact through research in entertainment law, intellectual property law, and employment law, Diana Simon is an esteemed Associate Clinical Professor of Law at the University of Arizona. Joining the faculty in 2017, she has brought with her a wealth of knowledge and experience, having dedicated over two decades to teaching and an impressive 23 years to practicing law in various jurisdictions. Her legal acumen spans a wide array of specialties, including entertainment-related litigation, copyright, trademark, general contract litigation, insurance coverage, and employment law. Before her current role, Professor Simon enriched the academic community as an Adjunct Professor at the Eller College of Management and as a Part-Time Professor at the Rogers College of Law. Her teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in practical experience, which she gained through her extensive legal practice. This unique blend of practical and academic expertise allows her to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of law, particularly in her areas of research interest. Professor Simon's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a Juris Doctor from Emory Law School.
