

Audrey Baker
A leader in transformative education for aspiring medical professionals, Audrey Baker serves as an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Arizona. With a distinguished academic and clinical background, she obtained her medical degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she also completed her residency training in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Her pursuit of excellence led her to further specialize with a fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at the prestigious Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. Dr. Baker's clinical expertise is centered around the treatment of head and neck malignancies, including melanoma, salivary gland tumors, thyroid and parathyroid tumors, and oral cavity cancers. Her innovative approach to patient care involves the use of microvascular tissue transfer techniques for reconstruction following head and neck cancer surgeries, which significantly enhances patient outcomes and quality of life. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Baker is deeply committed to advancing research in her field. Her research interests focus on microvascular reconstructive surgery and head and neck oncology, where she is actively involved in developing new surgical techniques and improving existing protocols to optimize patient care.
