Dr. Paola Devis is an esteemed Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Arizona. With a robust background in radiology, she holds board certification in the field and has completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology. Her professional journey is marked by a deep commitment to advancing minimally invasive cancer treatments, including techniques such as chemoembolization, immunoembolization, and percutaneous tumor ablation. Dr. Devis's expertise extends to a variety of specialized interventions, including liver and biliary procedures, management of uterine fibroids, treatment of varicose veins, and genitourinary interventions. Her work is characterized by a dedication to improving patient outcomes through innovative and less invasive treatment modalities. Throughout her career, Dr. Devis has been an active participant in several prestigious professional organizations. She is a member of the Radiographic Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, the Society of Interventional Radiology, and the American Medical Association. These affiliations reflect her commitment to staying at the forefront of her field and contributing to the broader medical community. Dr. Devis's academic journey began at Universidad del Rosario in Bogota, Colombia, where she completed her medical degree.
