Roberto Z Guzman

Professor Roberto Z. Guzman is a distinguished faculty member at the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona. Since joining the university in 1989, he has made significant contributions to the fields of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, holding additional faculty appointments in Biomedical Engineering and Pharmacology and Toxicology. Professor Guzman earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Biotechnology from North Carolina State University. Prior to that, he completed his MSc in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago and his BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. His academic background laid a strong foundation for his pioneering work in nanotechnology and drug delivery systems. In addition to his roles at the University of Arizona, Professor Guzman serves as an international faculty member in Nanotechnology at the University of Sonora, Mexico. His expertise is further recognized through his positions as a visiting professor at the University of Guanajuato, Mexico, and the University of Technology in Compiegne, France.
