Professor Rob Ray is a distinguished Associate Professor of Design at California State University, San Bernardino, where he conducts research in user experience (UX) design, human-centered design, extended realities (XR), creative technologies, and user interface (UI) design. With an impressive academic background, Rob holds a Master of Arts in Electronic Arts and a Bachelor of Arts with Magna Cum Laude honors, underscoring his commitment to excellence in the field of design. Rob brings 18 years of extensive experience in UX/UI design, with a particular focus on the integration of extended realities and creative technologies. His professional journey includes significant contributions to the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where he played a pivotal role in leading human-centered design practices. Notably, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Rob was instrumental in the development of emergency ventilators, showcasing his ability to apply design thinking to real-world challenges.
