Dr. Michele McConnell is revolutionizing practices in literacy education as an Assistant Professor in the English Department at California State University, Fresno. With a robust academic background, she holds a Ph.D. from the University of San Diego, an M.Ed. from San Diego State University, a Single Subject Credential from Chapman University, a B.A. from the University of Washington, and an A.A. from Highline Community College. Her diverse educational journey has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of literacy studies, particularly focusing on adolescent literacy practices and critical literacy practices.
