Dr. Neel Prasad is an esteemed Associate Clinical Professor at the University of the Pacific, a role he has embraced since 2016. His journey with the university began much earlier, as he is an alumnus who earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree there in 1996. During his academic years, Dr. Prasad was actively involved with Kappa Psi, a fraternity that has played a significant role in shaping his professional and personal life. His commitment to the community is evident through his participation in various projects, reflecting his dedication to service and leadership. Dr. Prasad's professional career is marked by his extensive experience with Target/CVS, where he has held multiple roles since 2000. His expertise and dedication to the field of pharmacy education are further highlighted by his long-standing position as a preceptor for Pacific's PharmD program, a role he fulfilled for 17 years. His exceptional mentorship was recognized in 2016 when he was honored with the Preceptor of the Year award, a testament to his impact on students and the pharmacy community. In his capacity as a regional coordinator for Modesto/East Bay, Dr. Prasad is responsible for teaching courses such as Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience Capstone I and II.
