Jane E. Cross

Dr. Jane E. Cross is at the forefront of discovery in the realms of human rights, Caribbean law, and negotiable instruments. As the Associate Dean for Diversity, Inclusion, & Public Impact, Director of the Caribbean Law Program, and a Professor of Law at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) College of Law, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her roles. Dr. Cross earned her Juris Doctor from the prestigious University of Michigan, where she laid the foundation for a distinguished career in legal education and practice. Before transitioning to academia, Dr. Cross practiced corporate and banking law, which provided her with a robust understanding of the legal intricacies that she now imparts to her students. Her teaching portfolio at NSU includes courses such as the Caribbean Law Seminar, Legal Research & Writing, and UCC: Negotiable Instruments.
