

Donya Andrews-Little
Dr. Donya Andrews-Little is pursuing novel approaches in the field of kinesiology, with a focus on integrating educational methodologies and sports management principles. As an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at Perimeter College, Georgia State University, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her students and colleagues. Her academic journey began with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Florida A&M University, followed by an M.Ed. in Counselor Education from the same institution. She further honed her expertise by earning a Ph.D. in Physical Education with a specialization in Sport Management from Florida State University. Dr. Andrews-Little's professional background is as diverse as it is impressive. She has served as a Guidance Counselor, providing invaluable support and direction to students navigating their educational and personal journeys. Her passion for athletics is evident in her role as an NCAA Division I Cross Country/Track and Field Coach, where she has mentored and developed athletes to reach their full potential. Her experience as a collegiate-level instructor has allowed her to blend her counseling and coaching skills, fostering an environment of holistic development for her students. Beyond her academic and professional commitments, Dr. Andrews-Little is deeply engaged with the community. She is an active member of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), contributing her expertise to promote youth sports and athletic development.
