Dr. Peitao Zhu specializes in the field of counseling, with a particular focus on cultural issues and their impact on relational processes within counseling and counselor education. As an Assistant Professor of Counseling in the Department of Counseling and Higher Education at Northern Illinois University, Dr. Zhu is dedicated to advancing the understanding of cultural humility and its role in effective counseling practices.
