Dr. Meredith Stevenson Duncan brings a wealth of experience in biostatistics and epidemiology to her role as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Kentucky's College of Public Health. With a PhD in Epidemiology, Dr. Duncan has developed a robust foundation in analytics, which she applies to her research and teaching endeavors. Her research is primarily centered on cardiovascular health disparities, with a particular focus on populations such as people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals. As a UK CCTS KL2 scholar, Dr. Duncan is dedicated to advancing the understanding of how social determinants of health and structural racism contribute to cardiovascular disease risk.
