Professor Jill Stowe is applying her expertise to address challenges in the field of Agricultural Economics at the University of Kentucky, where she holds a joint appointment in the Department of Economics. With a robust academic background, she earned her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Texas Tech University and subsequently completed her PhD in Economics at Texas A&M University. Her scholarly pursuits are deeply rooted in the study of equine markets, where she integrates principles from behavioral economics, game theory, and sports economics to advance understanding and innovation in these areas. Dr. Stowe's research is particularly focused on the dynamics of equine markets, exploring how economic theories and behavioral insights can be applied to enhance market efficiency and stakeholder outcomes. Her work often intersects with sports economics, providing a unique perspective on the economic implications of equine sports and industries.
