Dr. Emily Moss is at the leading edge of architectural and interior design education, serving as a Professor Emeritus at Parsons School of Design. With a distinguished academic background, she holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Literature from Yale University. Her unique blend of literary and architectural education informs her innovative approach to design and teaching. Throughout her career, Dr. Moss has been deeply involved in professional practice, contributing to a wide array of projects including loft renovations, retreats, and design/build initiatives in park settings. Her work is characterized by a commitment to sustainability and resilience, reflecting her research interests in architecture, urban design, interior design, landscape design, and design for resilience. During her tenure at Parsons, Dr. Moss played a pivotal role as the Director of the BFA in Architectural Design and the BSc in Urban Design programs.
