Lori Neuenfeldt
Dr. Lori Neuenfeldt is actively engaged in the vibrant academic and artistic community at Mississippi State University, where she serves as the Gallery Director and Instructor in the Department of Art. With a robust educational background, she earned her Bachelor's degree in studio art and a Master's degree in art history from Florida State University. Since her arrival at the university in 2011, Dr. Neuenfeldt has been instrumental in fostering a deep appreciation for historical objects and collections, using them as a medium to connect people through the universal language of art. In her teaching role, Dr. Neuenfeldt offers a diverse range of courses that cater to both introductory and advanced students. She teaches introductory art history, which lays the foundation for understanding the evolution and impact of art throughout the ages. Her survey classes in senior-level fine art research and historic costumes provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the intricate details and historical significance of art and fashion.
