Sharon Zahn's research defines new horizons for the field of nursing education and practice. As an Assistant Teaching Professor at the Sinclair School of Nursing at the University of Missouri-Columbia, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her students and colleagues. In her role as the Accelerated BSN Option Coordinator, Sharon is dedicated to shaping the future of nursing by guiding students through an intensive and comprehensive curriculum that prepares them for the challenges of modern healthcare. With a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Sharon Zahn is well-equipped to contribute to both academic and clinical settings. Her expertise as a Registered Nurse (RN) is further enriched by her extensive clinical practice in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) and Maternal Child Health. These areas of specialization allow her to provide invaluable insights and mentorship to her students, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles in healthcare. Sharon is also a respected member of the Graduate Faculty, where she plays a pivotal role in advancing nursing education and research.
