Justin M. Nash

Dr. Justin M. Nash is laying the groundwork for future advancements in veterinary medicine through his dedicated teaching and research at the MU College of Veterinary Medicine. As an Assistant Teaching Professor, Dr. Nash brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role, having earned a BS in Agricultural Science from Truman State University, followed by an MS in Animal Science and a DVM from the University of Missouri. His research interests are deeply rooted in bovine reproductive management and animal physiology, areas in which he has made significant contributions. Before transitioning to academia, Dr. Nash gained valuable practical experience working as an associate veterinarian in both a rural mixed animal practice and a suburban small animal clinic. This diverse background allows him to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of veterinary medicine, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. At the University of Missouri, Dr. Nash is responsible for teaching courses such as Small Animal Veterinary Gross Anatomy, Large Animal Veterinary Gross Anatomy, and Veterinary Neuroscience. His engaging teaching style and commitment to student success have made him a respected figure among both students and colleagues.
