Promoting critical thinking in the realm of natural sciences, Lauren Pile serves as an Assistant Cooperative Professor in the School of Natural Resources at the University of Missouri's College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. With a robust academic background, she earned her Ph.D. and Master of Forest Resources (M.F.R.) from Clemson University, following a Bachelor of Science degree from American Military University. Dr. Pile's research is deeply rooted in the intricate dynamics of forest ecosystems, with a particular focus on Applied Forest Ecology, Invasion and Disturbance Ecology, and Silviculture. Her work aims to unravel the complexities of ecological disturbances and their impacts on forest health and sustainability. By integrating these areas of study, she seeks to develop innovative strategies for managing forest resources in a way that balances ecological integrity with human needs.
