Jocquelin Jones
Dr. Jocquelin Jones is an esteemed Assistant Professor at Creighton University's College of Nursing, where she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role. With a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, Dr. Jones is certified as both a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) and a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP), reflecting her deep commitment to advancing pediatric and neonatal care. Originally from Philadelphia, Dr. Jones embarked on her nursing journey by earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989. Her early career was shaped by her work at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where she honed her skills in pediatrics and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This foundational experience laid the groundwork for her subsequent specialization in neonatal care. Dr. Jones furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and completing post-master's certificates in both PNP and NNP. Her clinical expertise is complemented by her practical experience across all levels of NICU care, making her a valuable mentor and educator for aspiring nurse practitioners.
