Dr. Kristin Christodulu is passionate about advancing the understanding and support of individuals with autism spectrum disorders and related challenges. As a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University at Albany, she brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her teaching and research. Her primary areas of interest encompass autism spectrum disorders, sleep disturbances, challenging behavior, parenting, and inclusion, reflecting her commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by these issues. In her role as Director of the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD), Dr. Christodulu oversees a comprehensive array of research, education, and training initiatives. Under her leadership, CARD has become a pivotal resource for both professionals and families, offering evidence-based strategies and support. The center's mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with autism and related disabilities, and Dr. Christodulu's work is instrumental in achieving this goal. CARD also serves as the Regional Center for Autism, extending its reach to 10 counties within the Capital Region. Through this role, Dr. Christodulu ensures that specialized services and support are accessible to a broad community, fostering an inclusive environment where individuals with autism can thrive.
