

Dola Saha
Dola Saha specializes in cutting-edge techniques for enhancing wireless communication and security. As an Associate Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the University at Albany, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Dr. Saha completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2013, following her M.S. from the same institution in 2008. Her academic journey has been marked by a strong focus on the intersection of machine learning and wireless communication. Dr. Saha's research interests are diverse and forward-thinking, encompassing areas such as wireless physical layer security, unmanned aerial systems wireless communication and sensing, and the coexistence of heterogeneous wireless users. Her work in localization and cloud radio access networks is particularly noteworthy, as it addresses some of the most pressing challenges in modern wireless systems. Additionally, her expertise in software-defined radio positions her at the forefront of technological advancements in communication systems. In her role as a co-director of the Mobile Emerging Systems and Applications (MESA) Lab, Dr. Saha collaborates with a team of researchers and students to explore innovative solutions in wireless communication.
