Frances Ferrante

Dr. Frances Ferrante is actively engaged in shaping the future of social work education as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Field Placement Coordinator for the undergraduate social work program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. With a robust background as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Dr. Ferrante brings a wealth of practical experience to her role, having worked extensively in child and adolescent mental health, crisis intervention, school social work, foster care, and social work administration. Since 2011, Dr. Ferrante has been dedicated to teaching Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) students, imparting her knowledge and experience to the next generation of social workers. Her commitment to education extends beyond the classroom, as she has also served as a field instructor for Master of Social Work (MSW) students, guiding them through the practical aspects of their training.
