John Nehrbass

A driving force in studies related to high performance computing and parallel software implementations, John Nehrbass serves as a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Dayton. With a robust academic foundation, he earned his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University in 1996, following his M.S. and B.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Arizona State University in 1991 and 1989, respectively. His extensive expertise spans across GPU acceleration, deep learning, singularity containers deployment, and cloud computing, making him a pivotal figure in these cutting-edge fields. Nehrbass is at the helm of Frontier Research Systems and the High Performance Computing Modernization Office, where he spearheads initiatives that push the boundaries of computational capabilities.
