Dr. Glenda Hyde has contributed extensively to the field of public health through her role as an Associate Professor at Oregon State University's Family and Community Health department. Since 2007, she has specialized in areas critical to community well-being, including family emergency preparedness, food preservation, nutrition, and stress management. Dr. Hyde is recognized for her expertise in training and certifying OSU Extension Master Food Preservers, a program that empowers individuals to safely preserve food, thereby enhancing food security and sustainability.
