Lauren Dewey

Lauren Dewey is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Lecturer in the Department of Psychological Science at The University of Vermont. Her role extends beyond academia as she serves as the Director of Youth Services, where she is responsible for managing the clinical, organizational, and financial aspects of outreach, prevention, and intervention programs at the Connecting Cultures/New England Survivors of Torture and Trauma Program. This position allows her to integrate her passion for mental health with practical applications in community settings. In her academic capacity, Dewey is dedicated to educating the next generation of psychologists. She teaches courses that focus on multicultural issues and health disparities, subjects that are increasingly relevant in today's diverse society.
