Dr. Justin Brown is driving progress in the field of neuroscience and physiology as an Associate Professor in the Biology Department at James Madison University. Since joining the faculty in 2006, Dr. Brown has been at the forefront of research exploring the intricate role of brainstem serotonin in managing cardiovascular and thermoregulatory protective responses to stress. His work also delves into understanding how environmental stressors impact physiological processes, contributing valuable insights to the scientific community. Dr. Brown's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Pre-Medicine from Eastern Mennonite University, where he developed a strong foundation in the biological sciences.
