With a passion for fostering innovation and critical thinking, Dr. Yiuyu has become a favorite among students, including Krysten Thomas, a second-year Computer Science major who appreciates his insightful lectures and supportive approach. Krysten Thomas, a promising student at UCF, embarked on her academic journey in 2009 after graduating from South Fort Myers High School. As a Computer Science major, she is actively involved in the EXCEL program, which is designed to support freshman female students in their transition to college life and encourage their pursuit of STEM careers. This involvement reflects her commitment to both personal growth and the empowerment of her peers. Outside of her academic pursuits, Krysten enjoys a well-rounded lifestyle that includes reading, socializing with friends, and watching movies. These activities provide her with a balanced approach to her studies, allowing her to recharge and maintain a positive outlook on her educational journey.
