Dr. Downs has a rich academic background, having served as an assistant professor at the University of Alabama in the Human Development & Family Studies department from 2015 to 2016. During her tenure, she taught a variety of courses that included cultural diversity in marriage and family therapy, couple and sex therapy, and practicum.
