Professor Yang Xiao is a distinguished figure in the field of computer science, renowned for his excellence in both research and teaching. As a tenured Full Professor at The University of Alabama's Department of Computer Science, Dr. Xiao has made significant contributions to the academic community, particularly in the areas of cybersecurity, wireless networks, the Internet of Things, cyber-physical systems, telemedicine, and smart grids. His prolific research output includes over 300 SCI-indexed journal publications and an equal number of EI-indexed conference papers, underscoring his commitment to advancing knowledge in these critical areas.
