Professor conducting influential research on mobile and wireless networks, Dr. Xiaoyan Hong is an esteemed Associate Professor of Computer Science at the College of Engineering at the University of Alabama. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California-Los Angeles, which she earned in 2003, Dr. Hong has established herself as a leading figure in the field of high-performance networks and the future wireless internet. Dr. Hong's research interests are diverse and impactful, encompassing mobile ad hoc networks, wireless mesh networks, vehicular networks, and delay-tolerant networks. Her work is at the forefront of technological advancements, aiming to enhance the efficiency and reliability of wireless communications.
