Dr. Sarah Keadle investigates challenges and opportunities in understanding and predicting sedentary time and physical activity. As an Assistant Professor in the Kinesiology and Public Health Department at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her field. Dr. Keadle holds a Ph.D. in Kinesiology, an M.P.H. in Quantitative Methods, and both an M.S. and B.S. in Kinesiology and Health & Exercise Science, respectively. Her research is centered on developing innovative methods to accurately predict sedentary behavior and physical activity patterns. Dr. Keadle is particularly interested in exploring the full spectrum of physical behaviors and their impact on chronic disease risk. Her work aims to bridge the gap between physical activity and health outcomes, providing valuable insights into how lifestyle choices can influence long-term health. Dr. Keadle's contributions to the field are recognized through her active involvement in various research projects and collaborations. She is dedicated to advancing the understanding of how physical activity and sedentary behavior interact to affect health, with the ultimate goal of informing public health strategies and interventions.
