Dr. Rachel Hobbs is an advocate for innovation in economic education and policy analysis, serving as an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Point Loma Nazarene University. With a robust academic foundation, she holds a Master in Public Policy from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. Her diverse educational background equips her with a unique perspective on the intersection of mathematics and economic theory. Dr. Hobbs brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles in both the public and private sectors. She has served as a Financial Analyst at Nickerson Stoneleigh, where she honed her skills in financial modeling and economic forecasting. Her tenure as a Research Fellow at the New America Foundation allowed her to delve into policy research, contributing to projects that addressed pressing economic issues on a national scale. In addition to her analytical roles, Dr. Hobbs has also been a Global Policy & Outreach Associate at Search for Common Ground.
