Rachel Hobbs
Dr. Rachel Hobbs is an advocate for innovation in economic education and policy analysis, serving as an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Point Loma Nazarene University. With a robust academic foundation, she holds a Master in Public Policy from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. Her diverse educational background equips her with a unique perspective on the intersection of mathematics and economic theory. Dr. Hobbs brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles in both the public and private sectors. She has served as a Financial Analyst at Nickerson Stoneleigh, where she honed her skills in financial modeling and economic forecasting. Her tenure as a Research Fellow at the New America Foundation allowed her to delve into policy research, contributing to projects that addressed pressing economic issues on a national scale. In addition to her analytical roles, Dr. Hobbs has also been a Global Policy & Outreach Associate at Search for Common Ground. In this capacity, she worked on initiatives aimed at fostering international cooperation and understanding through economic policy. Her work involved engaging with diverse stakeholders to promote dialogue and collaboration across borders.
