Mark Snyder

Dr. Mark Snyder is a recognized authority in graphic design and education, serving as the Associate Dean for Student Academic Services, Associate Professor, and Foundation Coordinator at the University of Hartford. With a tenure at the Hartford Art School dating back to 1994, Dr. Snyder has significantly contributed to the academic and creative community through his innovative teaching methods and leadership. Dr. Snyder is the founder of object|resonance, a design consultancy that focuses on providing creative solutions for non-profit and not-for-profit clients, particularly in the education and fine/performing arts sectors. His consultancy is known for its unique approach to design, emphasizing the importance of resonance and connection in visual communication. He holds an MFA in Graphic Design from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, where he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of design principles. Additionally, Dr. Snyder earned a BFA in Graphic Design and Textile Design from Miami University, providing him with a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of design.
