Veny Liu

Dr. Veny Liu is laying the groundwork for future advancements in the field of mathematics education and research. As an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Hawai'i–West O‘ahu, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Dr. Liu earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Mathematics from The University of Alabama, where she also served as a Graduate Teaching Instructor and Assistant, honing her skills in pedagogy and curriculum development. Her academic journey began with a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Montevallo, where she developed a strong foundation in mathematical theories and principles. Dr. Liu is deeply committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for her students, encouraging them to explore the vast and intricate world of mathematics.
