Dr. Stewart Gardner has a longstanding interest in the intricate dynamics of political systems and their philosophical underpinnings. As an Associate Clinical Professor in the Political Science department at Boise State University, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his students. Dr. Gardner's office is located in the Environmental Research Building, where he is known for his open-door policy and dedication to student engagement. In his teaching, Dr. Gardner covers a broad spectrum of political science topics, including Introduction to Politics, Political Philosophy, and Constitutional Law. His courses are designed to challenge students to think critically about the role of politics in society and to explore the philosophical foundations that guide political thought and action. Additionally, he leads the Capstone Research Seminar, where students have the opportunity to conduct in-depth research on topics of their choosing, and the Honors Colloquium, which fosters advanced discussions among high-achieving students.
