

Leslie Moreau
Dr. Leslie Moreau is a distinguished tenured Professor of Music at Boise State University, where she imparts her extensive knowledge of clarinet and music theory to her students. Her role extends beyond teaching, as she is also the Undergraduate Program Coordinator and Advising Coordinator within the music department, ensuring that students receive comprehensive guidance throughout their academic journey. An active performer and clinician, Dr. Moreau has graced stages across the United States and internationally, showcasing her exceptional talent in both solo and chamber music settings. Her contributions to the world of music are further evidenced by her involvement in several CD recordings, most notably the debut CD of the Ironwood Trio, titled "Destiny." Her prowess as a clarinetist is well recognized, having performed with esteemed ensembles such as the Boise Philharmonic and Opera Idaho, and previously with the Phoenix Symphony. Dr. Moreau's leadership skills are highlighted by her role as the Artistic Director for ClarinetFest© 2020, a prestigious event that draws clarinet enthusiasts from around the globe. She continues to serve the clarinet community as the current ICA State Chair for Idaho, where she advocates for the advancement of clarinet performance and education. Her academic credentials are equally impressive, with a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) and a Master of Music (M.M.) from Arizona State University, complemented by a Bachelor of Music from Indiana University. Dr. Moreau's dedication to her craft and her students is evident in her multifaceted career, which seamlessly blends performance, education, and leadership in the field of music.
