Tammie Sherner

Dr. Tammie Sherner is expanding horizons in the field of psycho-oncology as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Boise State University's School of Nursing. Since joining the faculty in 2021, she has brought a wealth of experience from her distinguished clinical career in psychiatry and oncology. Her academic journey is marked by a Master of Science in Nursing and a series of professional credentials, including Advanced Practice Registered Nurse-Clinical Nurse Specialist (APRN-CNS), Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), and Board Certified Nurse (BC). Dr. Sherner's research interests are deeply rooted in behavioral health concerns in cancer patients, with a particular focus on psycho-oncology. Her work is dedicated to understanding and addressing the psychological and emotional challenges faced by individuals battling cancer.
