Rick Fleenor

Dr. Rick Fleenor focuses on imparting knowledge and wisdom in the field of Missions and Ministry as an Associate Professor at the University of the Cumberlands. With a rich background in both academia and administration, Dr. Fleenor brings a unique perspective to his teaching. Before transitioning to a full-time faculty role, he dedicated 25 years to serving in various administrative capacities, including as Assistant to the President. During this time, he also shared his expertise with students as an Adjunct Professor for 15 years. Dr. Fleenor's extensive experience in ministry, spanning over 35 years, has equipped him with a deep understanding of the practical and spiritual aspects of his field. His commitment to service and education was recognized in 2015 when he received the University's prestigious Service Award, highlighting his significant contributions as an administrative staff member. In the classroom, Dr. Fleenor is known for his engaging teaching style and his ability to connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications. His dedication to student success and his passion for ministry make him a valued member of the University of the Cumberlands community.
