Brian Wong

Dr. Brian Wong is devoted to exploring challenges in the field of biology, with a particular focus on the anticancer mechanisms of phytochemicals derived from traditional Chinese medicinal herbs. As a Professor in the Biology Department at Andrews University, Dr. Wong brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role, having earned a BA in Religion, MA in Biology, MA in Education Administration and Leadership, and a PhD in Biology from Loma Linda University. With over two decades of teaching experience across diverse cultural landscapes such as Hong Kong, Trinidad and Tobago, Macau, and the United States, Dr. Wong has honed his pedagogical skills and developed a deep understanding of the global context of biological sciences. At Andrews University, he currently teaches courses in general biology, anatomy and physiology, and microbiology, inspiring students with his passion for the subject and his commitment to academic excellence. Dr. Wong's research is centered on the exploration of anticancer mechanisms, particularly through the study of phytochemicals found in Chinese medicinal herbs.
