Amanda Umlauf

Amanda Umlauf leads impactful research in the fields of psychology and education, with a particular focus on understanding the effects of high IQ on controlling personality traits and the influence of perceived social pressures on aggression levels. As an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Instruction at Andrews University, she brings a unique interdisciplinary approach to her work, blending her expertise in psychology with her passion for education. At Andrews University, Amanda teaches Calculus and Algebra II to high school students at the Math and Science Center, where she is known for her engaging teaching style and commitment to student success.
