Dr. Suzan Kamel-ElSayed is an esteemed Associate Professor in the Department of Foundational Medical Studies at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. With a robust academic background, she began her journey in veterinary medicine at Assiut University, where she earned her degree. Her passion for physiology led her to Creighton University, where she pursued a master's degree in endocrine physiology, followed by a doctorate in bone physiology. Since joining OUWB in 2013, Dr. Kamel-ElSayed has been a pivotal figure in the teaching of physiology, employing innovative methods to enhance student learning. Her role as co-director of the Cardiovascular Organ System underscores her commitment to integrating cutting-edge educational strategies into the curriculum. As a co-leader of the Innovative Teaching and Technology Scholar interest group, she actively explores new avenues in medical education, focusing on interactive teaching techniques.
