

Felicita Arzu-Carmichael
Felicita Arzu-Carmichael is an esteemed Assistant Professor and the Associate Director of the First-Year Writing Program at Oakland University. Her academic journey began at New Mexico State University, where she earned her Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Professional Communication. She also holds an M.A. in English Studies for Teachers and a B.A. in English Education from the same institution, showcasing her deep-rooted commitment to the field of English studies. Dr. Arzu-Carmichael's research and teaching interests are deeply intertwined with contemporary issues such as race, technology, inclusion, and the rhetorics of space and place.
