Jeffery Zook
Professor contributing to global discussions on the art of flute performance, Jeffery Zook is a distinguished flautist whose career has been marked by excellence and dedication to his craft. Since 1992, he has been an integral member of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, where his performances have captivated audiences with their precision and emotive power. Zook's musical journey began with his studies at the Interlochen Arts Academy, followed by advanced training at the University of Michigan. His pursuit of excellence led him to further his education at prestigious music institutions in England, where he honed his skills under the guidance of world-renowned mentors. Throughout his illustrious career, Zook has garnered numerous accolades, including victories in multiple competitions and the receipt of significant grants that have supported his artistic endeavors. His reputation as a soloist is well-established, with performances alongside the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and at the National Flute Association (NFA) convention, where his artistry has been met with critical acclaim.
