Dr. Jim Deal is shaping the future of human development and education as a Senior Associate Dean and Professor in the College of Human Sciences and Education at North Dakota State University (NDSU). He earned his Ph.D. in Child & Family Development from the University of Georgia, where he laid the foundation for his extensive research and academic pursuits. Dr. Deal's research is centered around four primary themes: exploring the similarities and differences within families, examining the intricate relations between marital and familial relationships and individual development, understanding personality development in young children, and investigating the developmental processes during emerging adulthood.
