Dr. Pappu Yadav is an esteemed Assistant Professor of Precision Agriculture AI Engineering at South Dakota State University. With a keen focus on the integration of technology and agriculture, his research delves into the realms of remote and proximal sensing, employing advanced imaging techniques to enhance agricultural practices. His expertise extends to artificial intelligence and computer vision, where he explores innovative applications in agricultural robotics and the deployment of uncrewed aircraft and ground vehicles. Before joining South Dakota State University, Dr. Yadav honed his research skills as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Florida. His academic journey is marked by a Ph.D. in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University, where he developed a strong foundation in the intersection of engineering and agriculture. He also holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Fresno, and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the SRM Institute of Science and Technology in India.
