Before his tenure at Lipscomb, Eidson held several pivotal roles within the Tennessee state government. His leadership as the Executive Director of the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy and Director of Pharmacy for the Department of Health underscored his commitment to advancing pharmaceutical practices and policies. Additionally, his role as the State Strategic National Stockpile Director highlighted his expertise in emergency preparedness and resource management, ensuring the state's readiness for public health emergencies.
