Kesha Walrond

Dr. Kesha L. Walrond is dedicated to advancing knowledge in educational leadership and fostering the development of future school leaders. As an Assistant Professor in Educational Leadership at Lipscomb University, she brings a wealth of experience from her extensive career in education. Dr. Walrond has served as a teacher and executive principal within Metro Nashville Public Schools, where she notably held leadership positions at Thomas A. Edison Elementary School and Carter-Lawrence Math and Science Magnet School. Dr. Walrond's academic journey began at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She furthered her education at Trevecca Nazarene University, obtaining both her master's and doctoral degrees.
