Dr. Jie Cui has a longstanding interest in advancing the field of Mechanical Engineering through his extensive research and teaching endeavors. Currently serving as the Assistant Chair and Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Tennessee Tech University, Dr. Cui has been a pivotal figure in the department since joining in 2001. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in 2000, where he honed his expertise in Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Numerical Simulations, and Turbulence Modeling. Throughout his career, Dr. Cui has made significant contributions to the academic community, authoring numerous publications in esteemed peer-reviewed journals and presenting his findings at various international conferences. His research has not only expanded the understanding of complex mechanical systems but also provided practical solutions to engineering challenges.
