Professor focused on real-world applications of high performance scientific computing, IoT security, and machine learning, Dr. Yu Zhuang is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Computer Science at Texas Tech University. With dual Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Louisiana State University, obtained in 2000, Dr. Zhuang brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his academic and research endeavors. Dr. Zhuang's research interests are diverse and impactful, encompassing high performance scientific computing, IoT security, and machine learning. He has made significant contributions to the field of Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs), which are critical for enhancing security in IoT devices. His work in high-dimensional data modeling has been instrumental in advancing machine learning techniques, enabling more efficient and accurate data analysis.
